Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 57-year-old Caucasian male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Leonard Bowman.

Born in Riverside County. Mother’s maiden name is Ray.

Brown hair. Brown eyes. Height: 5 feet 8 inches. Weight: 150 pounds

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Cardiopulmonary Arrrest

Cause of Death B: Anoxic Brain Injury

Cause of Death C: Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease

Other Significant Condition: Congestive Heart Failure

The decedent’s residence was given as 450 Bauchet Street, which is the address of a jail facility of the LASD in the downtown area. This appears to be an in-custody death.

He had a record of being arrested and booked by Long Beach PD on August 10, 2021.
