Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 32-year-old Latino male that occurred on a sidewalk.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as Pete Tarazon.
Born in L.A. County. Mother’s maiden name is Talamantes.
Manner of Death: Homicide
Cause of Death: Multiple Gunshot Wounds

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 5:50 a.m.
The medical examiner changed the first name from Peter to Pete on September 19.
The decedent was one of two people killed in an incident in El Sereno. The other victim was 31-year-old Hacienda Heights resident Robert Anthony Gonzalez. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers had been dispatched at 5:27 a.m. to the area of Templeton Street and North Eastern Avenue in response to shots being fired from a car speeding away from the area.
