(L.A.) Ruby Abriol, 38, Died from Homicidal Violence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 38-year-old Asian female. Her body was found lifeless in the desert.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Ruby Abriol.

Height: 5 feet 4 inches. Weight: 130 pounds

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Homicidal Violence of Undetermined Etiology

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 9:42 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on October 13.

The decedent was a Filipino nurse. She went missing on July 31 near her residence on the 500 block of East 224th Street in Carson City. Her body was found on August 11 in the desert.

This had been reported in Philippine media outlets as a murder case possibly involving her husband.
