Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 17-year-old Latino male that occurred outside a house party in San Pedro.

The coroner’s office has identified the teenager as Joseph Saldana.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound of the Chest

RIP JOSEPH SALDANA (October 19, 2005 – September 30, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 11:50 p.m.

The decedent was standing in front of a residence in the 1200 block of North Park Western Drive with three other people when one or more suspects approached them on foot at around 11:30 p.m. and shot them.
