Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 34-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Mark Azemoon.

Born in L.A. County. Persian / Iranian descent. Mother’s maiden name is Derakhshan.

Height: 5 feet 6 inches. Weight: 135 pounds

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Acute Cardiac Dysfunction

Cause of Death B: Effects of Hypertension

RIP MARK MOHAMMAD AZEMOON (May 4, 1989 – November 8, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 10:20 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on December 6, presumably after the results of tox screening came back negative for substances.

Criminal suspect Mark Azemoon was arrested by LAPD on September 11 for 594(B)(1) – vandalism costing $5000 or more. Bail was posted in the amount of $20,000 and he was released the following day and given a scheduled court date for October 3.
