Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 34-year-old Black male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Earl Hayes, Jr.

Manner of Death: Suicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound of Head

RIP EARL HAYES, JR. (May 28, 1980 – December 8, 2014)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 9:50 a.m.

The decedent fatally shot his wife Stephanie Moseley — the star of VH1’s “Hit the Floor” before killing himself.

Hayes and Moseley were married in 2008.
