(L.A.) Dashawn Haws, 40, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 40-year-old Black male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Dashawn Haws.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Methamphetamine

Other Significant Conditions: Cardiomyopathy, Hypertension

RIP DASHAWN HAWS (January 10, 1984 – January 24, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 12:14 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on May 3. This is considered an accidental drug overdose.
