(L.A.) Jeff Green, 63, Died From Drug Abuse

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 63-year-old Black male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Jeff Green.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Combined Effects of Phencyclidine and Methamphetamine

Other Significant Conditions: Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease, and Medical History of Diabetes Mellitus

RIP JEFF GREEN (September 23, 1960 – June 25, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 6:21 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in October, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, overdose.
