(L.A.) Benjamin Childs, 59, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 59-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Benjamin Childs.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Arteriosclerotic and Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Conditions: Morbid Obesity, Effects of Methamphetamine

RIP BENJAMIN CHILDS (June 9, 1965 – July 20, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 12:03 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on November 20.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
