(L.A.) Jose De La Torre, 57, Died From Meth Use

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 57-year-old Latino male that occurred on a street.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as Jose De La Torre.

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 5:55 a.m.
Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on January 21, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
A lifeless body was found on Whittier Boulevard in Boyle Heights across from Bob’s Hand Car Wash, whose address is 3629 Whittier Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90023.
