(L.A.) Idelle Brown, 78, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 78-year-old Black female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Idelle Brown.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Myocardial Ischemia

Cause of Death B: Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 1:00 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on December 30, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back negative for substances.

Myocardial ischemia is characterized by reduced blood flow to the heart muscle. The reduced blood flow is usually the result of a partial or complete blockage of the heart’s arteries. Due to inadequate oxygen supply, the heart muscles die.
