(L.A.) Julie Gaspar, 54, Ender Her Life in Torrance

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 54-year-old White/Caucasian female that occurred in a vehicle.
The coroner’s office identified the woman as Julie Gaspar.
Manner of Death: Suicide
Cause of Death: Acute Intoxication by the Combined Effects of Diphenhydramine, Hydroxychloroquine, and Metoprolol

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 7:20 a.m.
The decedent was found lifeless inside a locked car at Wilson Park in Torrance.
Officers had been sent to the 2200 block of Crenshaw Boulevard at around 7:15 a.m. They broke the car window to gain access inside.
The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling in mid-January, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.
Metoprolol, sold under the brand name Lopressor among others, is a medication used to treat angina and a number of conditions involving an abnormally fast heart rate.
