(L.A.) Anamaria Falcone, 28, Died From Embolisms

Case Number: 2024-15004

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 28-year-old Hispanic female.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Anamaria Falcone.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Pulmonary Thromboembolism, Bilateral

RIP ANAMARIA FALCONE (September 15, 1996 – September 20, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 9:01 p.m.

Bilateral pulmonary thromboembolism occurs when blood clots block the arteries in both lungs, which can severely restrict blood flow and lead to increased pressure in the heart. This condition can result in serious complications, including heart failure, as the heart struggles to pump blood effectively.

We do not know if the decedent was injected with synthetic mRNA.

For young people under 30, obesity significantly increases the risk of developing bilateral pulmonary embolisms. Research indicates that individuals in this age group who are obese have a relative risk of approximately 5.19 for pulmonary embolism compared to non-obese individuals.

Obesity contributes to a prothrombotic state, where the body is more prone to forming blood clots.

Studies also indicate that young women are more prone to developing pulmonary embolisms compared to young men. Research shows that women aged 20 to 40 years experience pulmonary embolism at approximately twice the rate of men in the same age group, with an incidence of about 16 cases per 100,000 person-years for women versus 7 cases per 100,000 person-years for men.

Factors contributing to this increased risk in young women include the use of oral contraceptives, which can elevate the likelihood of clot formation.
