Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a one-year-old Hispanic female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the child as Natalia Vazquez Benitez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Drowning

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 8:23 p.m.

Note that the government investigator had initially spelled Vazquez as Vasquez.
