(L.A.) Robert Murar, 48, Died From Doing Drugs

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 48-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at a private residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Robert Murar.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Effects

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 1:28 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in early January, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.

“Private residence” indicates it was not the decedent’s own residence.
