(L.A.) Ashley Gonzalez, 31, Died in a Parked Vehicle

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 31-year-old Hispanic female that occurred in a parked vehicle.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Ashley Gonzalez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Methamphetamine Toxicity

Other Significant Condition: Hypertrophic Heart Disease

RIP ASHLEY GONZALEZ (June 4, 1993 – October 20, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 2:02 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on January 28, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
