(L.A.) Sergio Flores, 32, Died From Substance Abuse

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 32-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Sergio Flores.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Intoxication by Combined Effects of Cocaine and Ethanol

RIP SERGIO FLORES (April 20, 1992 – October 3, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 2:59 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on January 20, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
