(L.A.) Nazim Abdellali, 19, Died in Gardena

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 19-year-old male that occurred on a street in Gardena.

The coroner’s office has identified the young man as Nazim Abdellali of Lawndale.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Blunt Trauma

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 6:43 a.m.

The decedent’s name appears to be Algerian.

Gardena PD said the crash was reported at around 6:30 a.m. in the 2900 block of Rosecrans Avenue east of Crenshaw Boulevard.

Video description: The Gardena Police Department is investigating a single-vehicle accident that claimed the life of a one person.

The car was split in half due to the extreme speed at which it was traveling. The vehicle direction of travel was eastbound Rosecrans just passing Crenshaw.
