(L.A.) Marquis Ray, 29, Died on the 110 Freeway

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 29-year-old Black male that occurred on the 110 Freeway.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Marquis Ray.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Multiple Blunt-Force Traumatic Injuries

RIP MARQUIS RYDEL RAY (November 22, 1994 – November 20, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 8:45 p.m.

Video description: A pedestrian on the 110 Freeway was struck and killed late Wednesday evening in the Exposition Park area of Los Angeles. He was found in the HOV lane.

The incident occurred shortly after 8:30 p.m. on the southbound 110 at Exposition Boulevard, by Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.

The Central Los Angeles Area office of the California Highway Patrol is in charge of the investigation.
