Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 21-year-old Asian male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Matthew Montebello.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound to the Head

RIP MATTHEW MONTEBELLO (November 10, 2003 – November 17, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 11:40 p.m.

The decedent was one of four victims of a massacre that happened in Lancaster on November 16.

UPDATE: On Thursday, police arrested Miguel Diego Sandoval, 19, on four counts of murder.
