(L.A.) Luis Acosta, 43, Died in State Prison

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 43-year-old Latino male that occurred at a California state prison.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Luis Acosta.

Manner of Death: Suicide

Cause of Death A: Asphyxia

Cause of Death B: Hanging

Other Significant Condition: History of Schizophrenia
