(L.A.) Gilmar Vera, 41, Died in an Assisted Living Facility

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 41-year-old Latino male that occurred in an assisted living facility.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Gilmar Vera.

STATUS: The decedent’s body is ready to be released. Ruling by the deputy medical examiner is deferred pending additional investigation.

Manner and cause of death will be added to this page when it becomes available.

If the DME has ordered toxicological screening, the next public update may take three to five months.

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 8:38 a.m.

The government investigator had initially given the decedent’s name as Gilmar Vera Guamayo.
