(L.A.) Nahsiyah Turner, 17, Died From a Chest Shot

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 17-year-old Black female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the teenager as Nahsiyah Turner.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound of Chest

RIP NAHSIYAH TURNER (February 9, 2007 – January 18, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 8:13 p.m.

The decedent was shot at the Los Cerritos Center shopping mall. She was found unconscious and not breathing inside a vehicle in the lot.

Turner was known as “Siyah” on TikTok where she had d more than 300,000 followers. She also had about 36,700 fans on Instagram.
