(L.A.) Michelle Craine, 52, Took Her Own Life

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 52-year-old Caucasian female that occurred at a residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Michelle Craine.

Manner of Death: Suicide

Cause of Death: Acute Cyclobenzaprine and Alprazolam Toxicity

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 10:08 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on August 22, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.

Cyclobenzaprine (sold under the brand name Flexeril, among others) is a muscle relaxer used for muscle spasms from musculoskeletal conditions of sudden onset.
