Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 52-year-old Black male that occurred in a jail.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Christopher Nash.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Myocardial Infarction

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 8:51 p.m.

A myocardial infarction (heart attack) by itself would be natural, but this MI seems to have been brought about by cocaine use, so the manner of death was classified as an accident.
