(L.A.) Ken Nong, 55, Stabbed Himself Dead

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 55-year-old male of Vietnamese ethnicity that occurred at a residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Ken Nong.

Manner of Death: Suicide

Cause of Death: Incised Wounds of Abdomen

RIP KEN NONG (January 10, 1968 – January 11, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 5:11 p.m.

Essentially, the medical examiner concluded that the decedent intentionally stabbed himself in the abdomen.

Abdominal self-stabbing is an uncommon form of suicide, accounting for approximately 3% of all suicides.
