(L.A.) Johnny Morris, 63, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 63-year-old Caucasian male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Johnny Morris.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Methamphetamine

Other Significant Conditions: Diabetes Mellitus, History of Chronic Alcohol Use

RIP JOHNNY MORRIS (September 22, 1959 – March 1, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 7:20 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on July 18, presumably after the results of tox screening came back.

This was an accidental drug overdose.
