(L.A.) Wilverth Ursua, 27, Died from Drugs

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 27-year-old male that occurred in a hotel/motel.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Wilverth Ursua.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Cocaine Toxicity

RIP WILVERTH URSUA (November 23, 1995 – March 21, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 4:43 p.m.

The government investigator had originally listed the decedent’s race/ethnicity as Black. As of August, it’s been changed to Hispanic.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on January 16, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
