(L.A.) Jose Almaraz, 46, Died on a Sidewalk

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 46-year-old Latin American male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Jose Almaraz.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl, Heroin, and Methamphetamine

RIP JOSE ALMARAZ (July 31, 1976 – January 1, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 10:36 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on August 18, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
