The coroner’s office has identified the man as Joel Fine.

RIP JOEL FREDERICK FINE (April 3, 1954 – February 2, 2010)

The decedent was a medical doctor. His California license was issued on December 9, 1985.

He graduated in 1982 from the University of the East, Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center, which is in Cebu, Philippines.
