(L.A.) Nathan Young-Nichols, 15, Died From Recreational Drug Use

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 15-year-old Caucasian male that occurred in a hospital.
The coroner’s office has identified the teen as Nathan Young-Nichols, resident of Santa Bella Road in Rolling Hills Estates 90274.

Cause of Death: Mixed Drug Toxicity (Fentanyl, Methylenedioxyamphetamine)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 11:51 a.m.
The decedent passed away at Torrance Memorial Medical Center, whose address is 3330 Lomita Blvd, Torrance, CA 90505. It was about four miles away from his home.
Methylenedioxyamphetamine (MDA) is a ring-substituted derivative of amphetamine and is a member of the group of drugs popularly known as “Ecstasy” which also includes methylenedioxymethylamphetamine (MDMA) and methylenedioxyethylamphetamine (MDEA).
