The coroner’s office identified the woman as Akriti Shrivastava. Born in L.A. County. Mother’s maiden name is Sinha.

The agency clerk had misspelled the decedent’s surname as Shrivaftava during the initial release on August 18. The spelling was corrected by September 6 when the medical examiner ruled on the cause of death.
