(L.A.) Alonso Chavez, 61, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 61-year-old Latino male that occurred at a residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Alonso Chavez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Conditions: Methamphetamine Effects; Diabetes Mellitus; Emphysema

RIP ALONSO CHAVEZ (January 25, 1962 – November 19, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 9:25 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on January 14, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the meth.

This is considered an accidental drug overdose.
