(L.A.) Amanda Torres, 28, Died at the Underwar3 Event

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 28-year-old Hispanic female that occurred in an alley.
The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Amanda Torres.
Manner of Death: Homicide
Cause of Death: Stab Wounds of Neck and Torso

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 1:06 a.m.
The decedent was fatally stabbed outside a club in downtown L.A.
Central Division officers had responded to the 200 block of East 12th Street before 1:00 a.m.
According to witnesses, a patron had been removed from the club, which resulted in a fight ensuing in the alley. It’s alleged that the removed patron was the perpetrator of the crime.
The club was the venue for the Underwar3 underwear event.

Woman Found Fatally Stabbed in Downtown Los Angeles Alley
An apparent altercation left a woman fatally stabbed in a downtown Los Angeles alley overnight, according to initial information from police officers at the scene.
The Los Angeles Police Department received a call regarding a stabbing in the 1100 block of Los Angeles Street shortly around 1 a.m. Sunday with a victim down in an alley behind a building.
Upon responding to the location, Central Division officers found a 20-year-old Hispanic female not conscious and not breathing, suffering from multiple stab wounds, according to an LAPD spokesperson.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics pronounced the victim deceased at the scene despite lifesaving efforts.
There was a party at the location at the time of the stabbing. There is no suspect information.
