(L.A.) Anthony Marez, 64, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 64-year-old Latino male that occurred at a residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Anthony Marez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Condition: Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

RIP ANTHONY MAREZ (April 27, 1959 – September 26, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 1:59 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on November 8, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.

This is considered an accidental drug overdose.
