(L.A.) Ashley Burnham, 36, Died on the 405 Freeway

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 36-year-old Caucasian female that occurred on the freeway in Inglewood.
The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Ashley Burnham.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Multiple Blunt Force Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 8:45 p.m.
The decedent was hit by at least two vehicles while running from the center divider into the No. 1 lane of the southbound San Diego (405) Freeway in Inglewood.
The incident happened at around 8:30 p.m. on the southbound freeway, south of Arbor Vitae Street, where Burnham ran from the center divider into the No. 1 lane, in a westerly direction and was struck by a 1999 Land Rover Ranger Rover — and then a 2015 Nissan Altima.
Both people in the two vehicles pulled over and were cooperative during the California Highway Patrol’s investigation.
