Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 58-year-old White/Caucasian female that occurred on a street.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Brenda Byrnes.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Blunt Traumatic Injuries

RIP BRENDA BYRNES (October 14, 1965 – January 13, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 1:03 a.m.

The decedent was hit a little before 12:45 a.m. on Van Nuys Boulevard at Valerio Street. She was struck by a white white pickup truck heading south.
