(L.A.) Carlos Olvera, 27, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 27-year-old Latino male that occurred at a residence in Palmdale.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Carlos Olvera.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound of the Head

RIP CARLOS OLVERA (January 12, 1996 – August 27, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 9:00 p.m.

The decedent was shot dead inside a house in Palmdale, possibly as the result of a domestic dipuste. The shooting happned at around 8:57 p.m. in the 37500 block of Sabal Street.

Sheriff’s deputies learned there was a disturbance or argument before the shooting, involving residents of the house. The suspect, identified as 20-year-old Andrew Plancarte, left the scene after the shooting.
