(L.A.) Carol Willis, 46, Died on a Beach

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 46-year-old White/Caucasian female that occurred in Venice.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Carol Willis.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

RIP CAROL WILLIS (January 4, 1978 – April 11, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 5:48 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on June 15, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.

The body had been found on the sands of Venice Beach.

Venice is a neighborhood of the City of Los Angeles within the Westside region of Los Angeles County. Venice Beach is a famous beach and tourist destination that is part of the larger Venice neighborhood.
