(L.A.) Channtel Stultz, 32, Died From Meth and Overheating

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 32-year-old Black female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Channtel Stultz.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Methamphetamine Toxicity

Other Significant Condition: Hyperthermia Due to Environmental Exposure

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 8:19 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on January 17, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drug.
