Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 65-year-old Black male that occurred at a private residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Charles Carter.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Combined Effects of Methamphetamine, Cocaine, Fentanyl and Phencyclidine

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 3:25 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the COD ruling on February 3, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
