(L.A.) Charlie Jarr, 79, Died The Day After LAPD Interaction

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 79-year-old “Pacific Islander” male that occurred at a residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Charlie Jarr.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Sudden Cardiac Dysfunction

Cause of Death B: Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

RIP CHARLIE JARR (March 2, 1943 – August 1, 2022)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 8:39 a.m.

The decedent had been violently accosted by the LAPD the day before his death.
