Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 25-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Christopher Garcia.

Manner of Death: Undetermined

Cause of Death A: Sepsis

Cause of Death B: Necrotizing Pneumonia

Other Significant Conditions: Head Injuries, History of Drug Use

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 2:18 p.m.

The ME-Coroner had originally posted that the decedent died at a residence before correcting the place of death to a hospital.
