Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 67-year-old Latino male that occurred in a vehicle.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as David Melendrez.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Sequelae of Diabetes

RIP DAVID MELENDREZ (October 28, 1956 – April 8, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 11:10 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on May 2.
