(L.A.) Edgar Vargas, 41, Died from Gunshots

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 41-year-old Latino male that occurred on a sidewalk in Bellflower.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Edgar Vargas.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Multiple Gunshot Wounds

RIP EDGAR VARGAS (December 13, 1981 – November 4, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 1:36 a.m.

The decedent is believed to have been indigent and homeless.

Sheriff’s deputies had been sent to the 9000 block of Artesia Boulevard at around 1:25 a.m.
