(L.A.) Fernando Marquez, 63, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 63-year-old Latino male that occurred at a residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Fernando Marquez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Condition: Probable Methadone Effects

RIP FERNANDO MARQUEZ (March 3, 1960 – July 1, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 6:01 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on August 18, presumably after the results of tox screening came back.

Note that this one ruled an accidental overdose and not a natural death.
