Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 67-year-old Samoan male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Filipo Patelesio.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Of the 150,000 death records the county’s medical examiner has made public, only 212 are of Samoan persons. The first death that was logged as Samoan and made public by the county coroner was in the year 2001.
