(L.A.) Giovanni Santos, 52, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 52-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Giovanni Santos.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death A: Pulmonary Emboli

Cause of Death B: Deep Vein Thrombosis

Other Significant Condition: Effects of Methamphetamine

RIP GIOVANNI SANTOS (February 25, 1971 – January 5, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 5:14 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on March 27, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drug.

This is considered an accidental overdose.
