(L.A.) Hope Black, 56, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 56-year-old Black female that occurred at a residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Hope Black.

Cause of Death: Effects of Cocaine and Phencyclidine

RIP HOPE BLACK (August 9, 1966 – February 19, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 10:20 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on August 7, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs. This was an accidental overdose.
