(L.A.) Jin Ryu, 54, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 54-year-old Korean male that occurred at his residence in Koreatown.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Jin Ryu.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl, Methamphetamine, and Ethanol Intoxication

RIP JIN RYU (July 21, 1967 – May 5, 2022)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 5:38 p.m.

The decedent was found dead inside his apartment, Unit #43, at 430 S Berendo Street, Los Angeles, California 90020.

This was an accidental drug overdose.
